Advocacy & Adventure Grants Program

TURNING CREATIVE AMBITION INTO WORK THAT MOVES.

Protect Our Winters

These projects were built to reach people through unconventional creative campaigns and move them to act. I ran the program end to end — from selection and budgets through production timelines, brand and partner coordination, and release — working closely with the athletes, filmmakers, and photographers behind each piece. The work required a constant balance: protect the creative vision, keep the production on track, and make sure the finished piece served the storyteller, partners, audience, and the organization's objectives.

The Hypocrite — Amie Engerbretson

Amie Engerbretson

The Hypocrite

Campaign development · Project management · Tour activation

A film built around the tension every climate advocate in the outdoor industry lives with: loving a sport that depends on a landscape its lifestyle helps erode. Amie's storyline put that conflict on screen, carried the film to festival awards, and became the work audiences asked for by name on tour.

Replay Operations Center

TURNING INSTANT REVIEWS INTO INSTANT ANSWERS.

Major League Baseball

Replay Operations Center — Major League Baseball

I helped build Major League Baseball's Replay Operations Center from the ground up — the department, the workflows, and the systems behind every instant replay review in the league. That included "ROC Opera," the internal system I designed so administrators could log each review the moment it happened and instantly push consistent communications to stadiums, league personnel, and media — with data and custom video distributed within the hour.

Systems design · Department build · Live operations

  • Built the replay operations department from zero — systems, workflows, and staffing
  • Managed a team of 8 operations staff across up to 15 games daily and a 2,430-game season
  • Designed the system that turned every review into instant, consistent communications for stadiums, league personnel, and media
  • The center and its operation featured in New York Post coverage — including a photo of me running the room

SheBelieves Hero Contest

GIVING EVERYDAY HEROES A NATIONAL SPOTLIGHT.

Major League Soccer · Soccer United Marketing

SheBelieves Hero Contest — Major League Soccer · Soccer United Marketing

At Soccer United Marketing, I managed the 2020 SheBelieves Hero contest — a nationwide search, run with U.S. Soccer as part of the SheBelieves movement, for someone who embodied its spirit. The campaign invited fans to nominate the heroes in their lives, put finalists before a selection committee of former USWNT players, and culminated in the winner being surprised with a call from her own hero, Lindsey Horan, ahead of the SheBelieves Cup.

Campaign management · Partnership activation · Fan engagement

  • Managed the national contest end to end — nominations, finalist selection, and winner announcement
  • Coordinated between U.S. Soccer, USWNT players, and a selection committee of former national-teamers
  • Delivered a fan-engagement campaign that carried the SheBelieves platform beyond the tournament itself

Mascots on the Move

BRINGING A GLOBAL TOURNAMENT INTO LOCAL HANDS.

FIFA World Cup 26 · Seattle Host City

Mascots on the Move — FIFA World Cup 26 · Seattle Host City

As part of the FIFA World Cup 26 Seattle team, I helped bring the tournament's official mascots — Zayu, Clutch, and Maple — into the city for a community takeover. The activation routed through Pike Place Market and the Chinatown International District, used local transit as part of the story, and paired the mascots with SeattleFWC26 ambassadors Lamar Neagle, Kelyn Rowe, and Lauren Barnes. The goal was to bridge the gap between a global tournament and the local community, turning a mascot appearance into a city-wide moment that built momentum ahead of kickoff.

Event production · Talent coordination · Community activation

  • Produced a multi-stop mascot activation across iconic Seattle neighborhoods
  • Coordinated talent, local ambassadors, transit integration, and on-the-ground logistics
  • Generated social content and community buzz ahead of the tournament
  • Featured on the official SeattleFWC26 news channel
